family project

Kaleb, Isaac, & Christian painting the to-be chicken building. They all first ripped off tin, scraped and then painting. We have had some great weather for it all. Thank you God.
Gabrielle doing a great job on her part.
Jordan & Danielle doing a great job on the other end.
Kurt, Jordan, & Jamie built a wall inside for the one end to be set up for the chickens. They did such a great job!!! It looks so nice. Thank you to our great son-in-law for his help on the farm :)
This is what happens to big sisters while spending time with little brothers :) While the big boys were building a wall the little boys had some sticker fun with Jessica.
Family projects are so much fun when done together. <3 :)

Thank you Gabrielle

Thank you Gabrielle. All of our pictures for the month of January were from Gabrielle and her new camera.

Kaleb's 3rd birthday

Kaleb is now "Green"!  Jessica had asked Kaleb a few days before his birthday, some questions to put on the Church blog, one of the questions was what is his favorite color, he said green. But then ever since then, ever time anyone asked him how old he was going to be, he would answer, "green". :D  We would say "no, three" he would say, "no, green" LOL  He even counted for Faith at church how old he was going to be; "one, blue, green" :D (it was so cute) I think maybe now we have finally convinced him that he is "three". (maybe) :)
This is Kaleb's rocket ship cake. Of course we found it appropriate to use blue and green :) His candles were the fire for the rocket to take off.
Kaleb outside to enjoy some of his new things he got for his birthday. Even his own pair of shades! :)
Fun with bubbles!
What is a spring time outside without a little mudding!
Flying an airplane kite with Jessica. He loves airplanes.
What a wonderful time we had celebrating with family the miracle of three years with Kaleb!

at the (very small) zoo

We met a in Springfield, IL to pick up our daughter Danielle coming from MO. We decided to make a day of it and visit a zoo while there. I advise all to visit zoos else where :) It was a nice :) small zoo :) (Did I mention SMALL.) We had a good time though regardless of the size. Isaac, Christian, & Kaleb playing in the playground there.
There was this pretty flowered tree there.
Isaac climbing the mountain at the playground.
Christian playing music for us.
It was such a great blessing to have Jessica with us for the day !!!!!!!!
We had a picnic lunch before heading home. It was a fun family day. And glad to have Danielle back home.
